Absolutely Everything and Nothing

Snowed today. It is very crazy weather at the moment. It is freezing today.

I love the doctors in this country. I don’t pay to see the doctor and there is a maximum for what medicines can cost £6.30. Its wonderful. The only problem is that the quality of doctor is not the greatest.

Moving closer to the date that we move out of our flat into the new one. We need a microwave and toaster. Its a bit crazy. Argos is nice and cheap. I can’t wait to move in. Its going to be great.

Have a look at this site Its brilliant. Using Google to find vulnerable servers and getting usernames and passwords. Its a bit crazy.

Get to my Gallery Its filled with pictures of me! No, just kidding. Some pictures of my flat are up under the Earlswood house gallery.

Jonathan is coming to my flat on the 20th. Can’t wait for that.

Have a look.
Apologies to the masses for the lack of rhetoric. I am spent.

ISA Server and other woes

Today.... 5 Comments »

Today is Thursday. I have spent the last two days with our main mail and internet server lying in a pile of gloop resembling peanut butter.

I have never had such problems with a machine. No response from Exchange or anything. Finally this morning it was sorted out. I feel so cut off when things like this happen. I need the internet. I definitely think I have an addiction to information.

We had the TCP/IP stack corrupt and what do you know? Microsoft won’t let you remove the protocol because its a server! And after fixing that, one change to the registry and exchange arrives at the party.

At least I can go home now. Early! Play some XBox and sleep.

For those morons who read this dull pose, please forgive me for the use of all this Latin. I feel myself drawn to it by some force, but I think it is the large magnet that I keep in my drawer that is causing these problems.

Grants car is on sale at the moment.

Done, Complete.
My Rhetoric is complete.

Not for Else or?

Well, the money has been paid and technically the new place is ours. All that has to be done is fill in some forms and we move in at the end of March.

Grant has paid for his ticket and should be here on the 11th of April. Can you cook Grant?

Now comes the big problem. My XBox gets lonely if it doesn’t get played with and the new place doesn’t have a analog receiving unit AKA a TV. I won’t be able to afford a TV for a while so what can I do. £20 reward for the answer. Hmmmm the blue or the red pill?

Limp Bizkit is getting closer. I can’t wait. Its going to be crazy.

Spent the entire day at work yesterday trying to stop this stupid Netsky Worm from propagating (yes this is a word Jon) through the network. Our mail is hosting by Hosting UK and they havn’t updated their virus definitions. So we are getting hammered. Isn’t that what we pay them for?

Enough for today.
That is all peons. Back to work now, no slacking

For all the non South Africans this title means the big move!
We went for a viewing of a flat on Sunday that seems to suit our needs. It looks great. Bathroom is a bit small, but its better than the one we have currently.

Congratulations to someone who used to work at my office. I don’t have the Norton Corporate password. We had a virus outbreak today! MyDoom.F

Someone needs to teach virus writers how to name their viruses. MyDoom.F? Cmon guys. Surely you can do better. Its the same with naming hurricanes. Hurricane Andrew? Surely “Hurricane Holy Shit This is a Big One”TM is a better name.

For those who ridiculed me about my use of Latin in one of my previous posts, I am appalled. Latin is the birth place of all languages. I am disgusted :). Oh well. My daily rant is over! Done

For the one known as “The Dork” Kudos to you! Well done on your interpretation on one of previous posts.

Enjoy the day.
