is this one going to work properly in Win XP? I’ve noticed a few open source things not working from their standard binary installations..
take the last version of mozilla for example! and MySQL wouldnt work until I read on some random person’s blog that you have to manually (YUCK!!) copy a dll file into your windows directory. THAT WASNT IN THE DOCUMENTATION!! was there something like that for mozilla? I didnt bother looking..
I STILL HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO GET APACHE, MYSQL AND PHP WORKING TOGETHER PROPERLY!!
Well actually the problem I’m finding is that MyPHPadmin just wont work.. I just get gibberish when I try opening it. probably means they’re not linking together properly so I’m just gonna reinstall everything from scratch.
Gawd I’m starting to sound like you and Grant!! :p
*scrubs tongue with industrial soap and a steel brush*
I’ve really gotta update my blog.. just have nothing quite as exciting as the new mozilla release to talk about!
