I have made a resolution to donate to a software project (not neccesarily opensource) once a month. I believe that people who spend their valuable time developing software that I use should be compensated. I have already donated money to Sharpreader which is an RSS reader that I use daily to manage my news subscriptions. Next will be the Mozilla Foundation and next, who knows. There are a lot of free software packages that I use for business and personal use like ClamAV,Putty and Apache. All of these projects need support in some way or another so if you use them - DONATE!!
