UK Financial Year End
Life in London March 30th, 2005Working for a financial company in London, year end is predicably a crunch-time for me. Accounts need to be generated and our systems need to roll-over for the new financial year. So I am working some long hours which I am quite enjoying. I actually enjoy the 7 hours after work I am doing more than the 8 hours at work as they are quieter and more work gets done.
Finally set up a VPN to connect to work so I have a nice connection directly into the office. A little slower than normal but workable which makes my life a ton easier. Literally, one metric ton easier
On a side note, my iRiver arrives soon which is a toy to play with. Finally some entertainment on the way to work. Luckily my trip is only 45mins compared to Nick Swan’s which is a little longer. I don’t have to get up at 6:30
Well, I am off. Reports to generate, accounts to balance and small rabbits to hunt.
