Monika Suchocka - In Memory
Life in London July 18th, 2005I write this today sitting outside my house on a glorious Monday evening. The birds are singing, there is not a cloud in the sky and it is very peaceful. It feels like there is nothing wrong with the world.
However, on Friday night we received word that Monika was a victim of the horrific bomb blasts that occured on Thursday 7th July 2005. Thank you to all the people who helped with the search and the kind words we received.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Monika’s parents, her family and her friends. We will never forget the beautiful woman that was a joy to work with and a friend worth having. We will remember you, as you would want to be remembered, with happiness and in positive celebration of your life. Reluctantly we hand you over to the care of God.
We will miss you!

Hi Ray
I’m so sorry about your colleague. As a Brit in SA I’ve been hoping against hope that some of the people reported missing would turn up at some stage. I’m sorry this couldn’t be the case with your friend. My thoughts go out to you and all the people that you work with.

Do you know what I think? I think all of those who brought these bombs into underground trains and detonated them are know burning in hell. And if anyone says that killing innocent people is justified and those terrorists had important reasons to do that, I tell him he’s a criminal too. I’m very sorry because of Monika’s death and I prayed for her and two other Polish women who died in that atrocity. We can’t forget their suffering, thier unneccesary deaths, we mst be brave and punish those terrorists.
