She Said Yes!

It is one of my proudest moments in life to be able to say that as of Saturday morning, Sarah is now officially my fiancee. It will be my honour to be the husband to the most beautiful woman in the world and the center of my life. Sarah, I love you!

ExplorerDestroyer

I came across this site today: ExplorerDestroyer. This site provides a script that you can add to your homepage that can display varying degrees of warnings if the visitor is using Internet Explorer.

Level 1 shows a header on your website asking the user to switch to Firefox, Level 2 shows a full screen warning and a button to click through to your home page. Level 3 is the most locked down version and it won’t allow IE visitors to browse your site at all.

I use Firefox on a daily basis but this sort of behaviour bothers me. What would the Firefox community and all the “zealots” out there say if Microsoft did the same and created a FirefoxDestroyer site and accompanying script. Microsoft would be laid into about their business practices and how unfair that sort of behaviour is. They would probably fall foul of their anti-competition rulings.

I don’t believe you can stand on one side of the fence and shout your beliefs without looking at your own practices. Remember the saying: “Practice what you Preach!” :)
