Well, I could hear it coming… After seeing Javascript in Gmail that pointed to managing domains, Google have “launched” Gmail for domains. Its beta (of course ;) ) and you need to fill out a form to apply.

It looks like the form will be reviewed by a human before you get accepted. Interesting concept although Yahoo has been doing it for years (with support for 3rd party apps). I can almost hear the roar of blog posts about Google’s amazing idea and completely forgetting the forerunners like Yahoo.
