Warning, a little bit of a rant ahead….

What is it that causes people to become the oxygen thieves that I have started to see?  Where is your ambition?  Where is your lust for success?  Sitting in your seat, doing the absolute minimum to pass off what you call a life and convincing yourself that you do a good job is a quick way to nothing.

Start caring for your job, start being a team player, start working towards bettering yourself and your company.  When you have the opportunity and the support of others, go for it!  Otherwise please make your way to the closest  fast food outlet where your “enthusiasm” can be “utilised” to it’s full extent.

I guess Adam Curry has lost his title! Cmon Ricky

After two solid years of C# development, going back to VB.NET for a small project that we’re finishing is like having your hands cut off.  No offense to VB developers, but I am so used to the language and conventions of C# that I feel my productivity going down the sink. 

I’m in two minds whether to convert the project to C#.  Its a small module in a larger solution, so the two can coexist.  Mmmm.  Might run it through a code converter and see what the output is.

As you may have noticed (or not, if you read this in an RSS reader), I have a new header graphic.  David Miller kindly lent his skills in doing a mash-up of some of my favourite photos.  Thanks!

We had an amazing photographer for our wedding and we already have the photos.  I’ve just finished uploading the photos to Zooomr and I’ve created a smart set for them.
